SPPG Student Matteo Pirri receives the Policy Graduate Research Challenge Award

Congratulations to SPPG Student Matteo Pirri for receiving the Policy Graduate Research Challenge Award!

The Ontario Graduate Policy Research Challenge is designed to reward high-quality graduate student research that is relevant to postsecondary education, training and labour market policies in Ontario.
The Challenge is open to graduate students and recent graduates from graduate programs at publicly assisted Ontario universities or post-graduate certificate programs at Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology (CAAT).
Applicants submit policy briefs that are evaluated by a Review Panel of policy and research experts from the academic community and the Ontario Public Service.
The finalists receive awards up to $3,000 and present their findings at an Award Ceremony organized by the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities (MTCU).

Matteo Pirri is pursuing a Master of Public Policy degree at the University of Toronto’s School of Public Policy & Governance. He is also one of the editors of the Public Policy & Governance Review.
