SPPG Professor David Pettinicchio writes that Hillary Clinton is “Thinking Big on Disability” for the Huffington Post Blog

April 6, 2016 | By |

Professor Pettinicchio asserts that the Clinton campaign’s pledge to address the broader structural and attitudinal problems in American society when it comes to disability as a labour market barrier is a major step forward in having issues related to disability be a talking point in the Presidential race.

Professor Pettinicchio is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, joining the Department of Sociology in 2014 where he teaches courses in quantitative methods, social policy and political sociology. For the 2015-16 academic year Professor Pettinicchio will be teaching PPG1005H: The Social Context of Policy-Making at the School of Public Policy & Governance.
