In a Toronto Star Op-Ed, Professor White argues that the large charitable donation of $45 billion made by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, has bought the power couple an undue influence over American public policy.

Linda White is Interim Director and Associate Professor at the School of Public Policy and Governance, an Associate Professor of Political Science, and is an affiliate of the Centre for the Study of the United States. Her areas of research include comparative welfare states, comparative social and family policy, gender and public policy, ideas, norms, and public policy development, and federalism, law and public policy.
