After Doug Ford announced he won’t run for the Ontario PC Leadership, MPP Alum Andrew Perez considers what this development means for the party. He argues that the PC leadership race needs to attract new members and media coverage in order to revitalize the party.

Andrew Perez worked on Parliament Hill for government and opposition MPs through the non-partisan Parliamentary Internship Programme, completed a fellowship on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. and most recently worked in the Ontario Premier’s Office. He holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Toronto.
