Bio
Robert Schwartz is Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences, and Director of Evaluation and Monitoring, Principal Investigator, and Research Scientist at The Ontario Tobacco Research Unit. His current academic interests include accountability mechanisms and their impacts, performance measurement and program evaluation, evaluating complex strategies and policy initiatives, tobacco control policy and evaluation, public health policymaking, and evidence-based policy. His teaching interests focus primarily on public health policy making, accountability, and public management and administration. Professor Schwartz received his Ph.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
