In advance of the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Professor David Pettinicchio argues that the ’emancipation proclamation for people with disabilities’ has failed to do its job.

Professor Pettinicchio is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, joining the Department of Sociology in 2014 where he teaches courses in quantitative methods, social policy and political sociology. For the 2015-16 academic year Professor Pettinicchio will be teaching PPG1005H: The Social Context of Policy-Making at the School of Public Policy & Governance.
