Professor Heath argues in the Ottawa Citizen that the increasing politicization of governance risks eroding Canadian democracy

In the midst of Canada’s 42nd General Election, Professor Joseph Heath assesses if the state of Canadian democracy has become eroded due to how effective our politicians and political parties have gotten at playing the political game.

Joseph Heath is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Toronto. His research interests include social and political philosophy, moral philosophy, and distributive justice. In the 2015/16 academic year, Professor Heath will be teaching Moral Foundations of Public Policy at the School of Public Policy & Governance.
