Professional Education Course: Data Analysis for Public Policy (Jan. 14)

Evidence based policy making requires analysts to be able to manage, analyze and interpret large data sets. This course offers participants Microsoft Excel training to analyze data to support evidence-based policy decisions.

Participants will learn to manage data lists by creating tables, sorting, filtering, and using advanced functions. Participants will gain proficiency in generating pivot tables, running regression analysis, and developing charts to summarize findings. Registrants should be familiar with the basics of Microsoft Excel.

*Participants must bring their own laptops for this workshop.

*A minimum of 15 registrants are required for the session to proceed as scheduled.

Cancellation policy: Full refund will be processed for cancellations made 5-business days in advance of session. Cancellations made in a time-frame shorter than that, will receive a full credit which can then be applied to enroll in future Professional Education sessions of the same or different title.
