Bio
Michael Baker is the former director of the Master of Public Policy program at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy and a Professor of Economics. His research fields include labour economics, public economics, and applied econometrics, and his recent scholarship has been published in a variety of journals, including the Journal of the European Economic Association, the Canadian Journal of Economics, and the Journal of Labor Economics. Professor Baker has a B. Comm. from the University of Toronto, an M.A. from York University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
