The expert group, which includes Professor Janet Mason, was tasked by Mayor John Tory with providing recommendations to improve Toronto Community Housing.

Janet Mason is a Professor and 2008-09 Ontario Public Service Visiting Fellow at the School of Public Policy and Governance. Prior to joining SPPG, Janet’s career spanned more than three decades in the Ontario Public Service in various positions in the ministries of Industry and Trade, Skills Development, Training, Colleges and Universities, and Cabinet Office.
