Jonathan Hall says: Test high occupancy toll lanes during Pan Am Games

A recent article in the Toronto Sun cites Professor Jonathan Hall’s research to argue in favour of converting the planned Pan Am carpool lanes into what are known as High Occupancy Toll (HOT) lanes. Hall asserts that HOT lanes will help reduce traffic more effectively and could save drivers as much as 40 hours of travel time a year.

Jonathan D. Hall is Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and School of Public Policy and Governance, University of Toronto.
