Dalton McGuinty Joins SPPG as a Senior Fellow

Dalton McGuinty will join the School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Toronto as a Senior Fellow for the coming academic year.

Dalton McGuinty was first elected to the Ontario Legislature for the riding of Ottawa South in 1990, and served as Ontario’s 24th Premier from 2003 until 2013 in three consecutive terms in office.

Since leaving politics, McGuinty completed a fellowship at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. He is now the Senior Advisor, Markets and Industries, with PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada. He also serves as the Special Advisor to the President of Desire2Learn, an Ontario education technology company.

Before entering politics, McGuinty practised law in Ottawa. He and his wife, Terri, have four grown children.
