Election Panel Discussion: Our Future: Canada’s Climate Change and Energy Policy Post Election Day

October 6, 2015 | By |

Climate politics and policy are likely to radically change in the near term. International concerns and events, federal-provincial relations, and changing energy politics will be at the top of the national agenda, regardless of which party (or parties) form the government on October 19. This event brings together a panel of experts to identify current and future environmental and energy challenges that the 42nd Parliament of Canada will have to face, and to discuss and debate the possible policy solutions and party platforms aimed at addressing these issues.

Speakers:

Jeff Rubin, Former Chief Economist, CIBC World Markets. Author, The End of Growth

Shawn McCarthy, Global Energy Reporter, The Globe and Mail

Keith Stewart, Climate and Energy Campaigner, Greenpeace Canada. Adjunct Professor, School of the Environment, University of Toronto
