Professor Pettinicchio asks if Canada has broken its promise to disabled Canadians in an Op-Ed for The Globe and Mail

Professor Pettinicchio argues that the federal government needs to commit more firmly to ensuring a better alignment between the good intentions of Canada’s disability rights legislation and the social and economic realities faced by disabled Canadians.

Professor Pettinicchio is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, joining the Department of Sociology in 2014 where he teaches courses in quantitative methods, social policy and political sociology. For the 2015-16 academic year Professor Pettinicchio will be teaching PPG1005H: The Social Context of Policy-Making at the School of Public Policy & Governance.
