Kathleen Wilson is Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Program in Planning. Her research focuses on aboriginal health, gender and health, health care services use and policy, neighbourhoods and health, and social inclusion/exclusion. Professor Wilson has been published in many academic journals, including Health Policy, Health and Place, Social Science and Medicine, and The Canadian Geographer. Some of her most recent work has focused on access to health care among immigrant populations and the health effects of unemployment among skilled immigrants. Professor Wilson obtained her Ph.D. from Queen’s University.
