Mentor Application Instructions
We are seeking U of T students from any academic discipline to be mentors. No background in finance or development is required, but mentorship or facilitation experience is a strong asset. Students from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), the Munk School of Global Affairs, and the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering are encouraged to apply.
If you are interested, please send a resume and a brief statement of interest (no longer than one-page) to Iain McCauley (Senior Mentor Coordinator) at iain.mccauley@mail.utoronto.ca by September 29th, 2014.
In your statement of interest, please answer the following questions only:
- Why do you want to be a mentor for the Global Ideas Institute?
- What mentoring and/or facilitation experience do you have that would be relevant to this position?
- What unique skills/knowledge do you believe you would bring to the GII program this year?
