Despite the challenges that face Nepal, its energy sector is full of untapped potential, amplified by a recent historic Power Trade Agreement with India and significant foreign investments in hydro power. These large scale projects are necessary for long-term growth, however they do little to address the immediate energy issues facing millions of Nepalese.
With these problems in mind, small-scale energy projects provide quick and critical solutions for the energy-hungry country.
