William Thorsell

Biography
William Thorsell is a graduate of the University of Alberta (MA, history) and Princeton University (MPA, Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs). He worked in newspaper journalism for 25 years, including Editor in chief of The Globe and Mail (1989-1999), and as Director and CEO of the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto (2000-2010). He is a member of the Order of Ontario and Chevalier in the Order of Arts and Letters of France, and is affiliated with a number of non-profit organizations in Ontario.
