Biography
Katia joins the Centre for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies as a Program and Internship Coordinator. She is a Higher Education professional with 8 years of experience in student recruitment, coordination of education programs, communications, and event management. Prior to joining the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, Katia worked as an Education Programs Coordinator at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine looking after the Undergraduate and Fellowship Portfolios at the Department of Anesthesia. She came back to the University of Toronto in a new capacity after working as a Manager of Student Affairs at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, established in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In her role she was responsible for coordination of exchange programs, development of policies in the Office of Student Affairs as well as planning and running student outreach efforts in Russia, Europe, and North America.
Katia holds a Master of Arts degree in European and Russian Affairs from the Centre for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies at the Munk School and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Honours) from Glendon College, York University.
