Biography

Kyoungrok Ko (Ph.D., Ohio State University) is an associate professor, teaching stream in the department of East Asian Studies. He is currently coordinating the Korean language program and teaching Korean language courses. He is a former board member of the American Association of Teachers of Korean and a recipient of the 2016 UofT Faculty of Arts and Science Dean’s Outstanding Teaching Award. He has also taught Korean language and literature courses at the Ohio State University, Oberlin College, and Concordia Language Village in the USA. His scholarly interests include: Korean pedagogy, foreign/second language writing pedagogy, integration of technology in language education. He is an inaugural fellow of the Online Learning Academy at the Faculty of Arts and Science in 2020-2021.
