Biography
Fadumo Faarah has over four years of experience in communications and digital marketing and has worked with several international development institutions in Canada, Rwanda and Tanzania, including the International Organization for Migration (IOM-UN Migration Agency), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and World University Services of Canada (WUSC). Fadumo’s professional commitment is to issues of sustainable and international development, research, communications, and social innovation, with a focus on Africa and the Middle East. She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelors of Environmental Studies and International Development and is currently finalizing her Master of Arts in Immigration and Settlement Studies at Ryerson University.
