In October and November 2016, the Global Justice Lab’s Global Counter-Terrorism Law and Policy Group hosted three Chatham House Rule workshops on national security policy, prompted by the Government of Canada’s 2016 Green Paper:  “Our Security, Our Rights”. Participants in these discussions included academics, national security practitioners, members of Parliament, and staff from national security review bodies, as well as representatives from the technology and telecommunications industry, local law enforcement, civil society, and the Government of Canada. Summaries from these workshops are posted here.
