This year marks the fifth anniversary of the Munk School of Global Affairs. Celebrations to mark the occasion began October 14, at a career panel hosted by the Trudeau Centre for Peace, Conflict and Justice (PCJ).

The PCJ program, formerly known as Peace and Conflict Studies, recognized its 25th anniversary in conjunction with the Munk School’s milestone celebration. Graduates from throughout the program’s history gathered to hear advice and inspirational talk from alumni Heather Johnston, CEO of Dignitas International; CBC producer Nicola Luksic; political staffer James Janeiro and recent PCJ grad Seoren A’Garous.

The Munk School’s five-year anniversary celebration continued on October 21 at a reception for Munk One, the School’s first-year foundation program. Celebrated journalist and author Nina Munk sat with Rudyard Griffiths, chair of Munk Debates, to discuss Munk’s book The Idealist: Jeffrey Sachs and the Quest to End Poverty.
