The Munk School is home to world-class faculty and researchers. Our new video series will let you get to know the faculty who will be teaching your courses this fall — not just as your professors, but as people.

First up: Janice Stein, founding director of the Munk School, and Peter Loewen, professor of Political Science and Public Policy. Together, they’ll be teaching a course on strategy and decision making to all first-year MGA and MPP students.

Next, Kory Kroft, assistant professor at the Department of Economics and the Munk School, and Stephan Heblich, associate professor and Munk Chair of Economics, who will be teaching a joint course on gives first-year students in the MPP program a foundation in microeconomic analysis and demonstrates how it can be used to develop and evaluate public policy.

Taught by Raji Jayaraman, associate professor at the Munk School and the Department of Economics, Microeconomics for Global Affairs is a first-year MGA course that covers the principles of microeconomics, with an emphasis on global affairs.

Jonathan Craft, associate professor at the University of Toronto’s Department of Political Science and the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, will co-teach Governance and Institutions. This Master of Public Policy course, co-taught by Gabriel Eidelman, is intended to provide foundational knowledge of key governance structures and political institutions at the federal, provincial, and municipal levels in Canada.

Paola Salardi, assistant professor at the University of Toronto’s Department of Economics and the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, will teach Statistics for Global Affairs, which introduces first-year MGA students to qualitative and quantitative methods to conduct research for policy purposes.

Jon Lindsay, assistant professor at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy and Department of Political Science, teaches Global Security for first-year students in the Munk School’s Master of Global Affairs program.
