The Global Ideas Institute is a program that provides Grade 11 students from participating high schools intensive research skills and learning opportunities that help focus on the increasing importance of global citizenship and global engagement. Students are given the opportunity to work with student mentors and access to University of Toronto faculty experts to tackle a global challenge – a real-world problem without a current solution.
On April 8, The Learning Partnership was pleased to take part in the final symposium for the Global Ideas Institute program in partnership with the prestigious Munk School of Global Affairs, the University of Toronto Schools and its Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering.
