Briefing from the Canadian Ambassador to South Korea: Updates from the ground

Canadian Ambassador to South Korea, H.E. Eric Walsh will participate in a web conference on North Korea at the Munk School of Global Affairs ON September 8, 2017. The Ambassador will share his views on the situation in the Korean Peninsula and the ensuing global implications.  He will be also be joined by a distinguished group of University of Toronto experts who will engage in a wider discussion on the topic.

As tension escalates between North Korea and the U.S. the international community is looking at ways to bring pressure on the regime in Pyongyang, exploring all diplomatic options.

The ambassador is very keen to shed light on the situationand discuss the role Canada has to play.
