PCJ formal 2016 2Last Friday, February 26th was The Annual PCJ Formal. The event was hosted in the Debates Room at Hart House and was put on by the PCJ Executives. The formal is an annual event that provides an amazing setting for dancing, food, drink and merriment. The event is catered and served by Hart House Catering, and the menu is always outstanding!

Students were dressed to the nines and everyone looked amazing. Also in attendance was PCJ361 professor, Derek Congram. The event was quite relaxed. With an open-door policy and comfortable environment, the title refers solely to the attire of the event. Students were able to mingle and unwind, while enjoying the fun atmosphere and company of their classmates. As PCJ prides itself on being a tightly knit community, The Annual PCJ Formal is an opportunity to see students from all PCJ courses hanging out together.

The highlight of the evening was when attendees turned to the dance floor. The music was a reflection of many genres, as the student DJ/Co-presidents took requests and kept the party going. It was truly a night to remember.

Though there was no official event photographer, many PCJ-ers memorialised the event through group photos and selfies. As Hart House is a beautiful and architecturally rich building, there was no shortage of scenery! While the event only lasted three short hours, from 7.30-10.30, students in attendance truly enjoyed themselves. For those who attended the formal, thank you and you looked amazing! For those who didn’t make it, we hope to see you next year!

Cheers,
