Meerah is in her third year at U of T. She is majoring in Peace, Conflict and Justice Studies as well as Political Science. She is currently a writer at the Varsity school newspaper and the Under- Secretary General of both Ontario Model World Health Organization (OMWHO) and University of Toronto Model United Nations (UTMUN).

Despite her busy schedule with school, work and club activities, she is still able to finish a season of a TV show per week. In true millennial fashion, Meerah is a true multitasker. her favorite activity is cooking while watching documentaries.

Meerah enjoys writing because it gives her a platform to be able to engage with the U of T community while talking about relevant issues. She hopes to one day be able to do some advocacy journalism work.

Ivana is a second year student double majoring in PCJ and English literature, and minoring in Art History. She initially entered UofT hoping to study International Relations, when one fateful day a wrong click took her to the program page for PCJ. The rest, of course, is history. A fan of interdisciplinary approaches to curriculum, Ivana hopes to be able to apply what she learns in PCJ to help end and prevent conflicts around the globe.

Although she wishes she was interesting enough to say you could find her riding horses with Putin or shopping for pantsuits with Hillary, this is not the case. You have a better chance of finding Ivana in the ROM, asleep still holding a textbook, or participating in Model UN with the school’s various groups.
