My favourite aspect of Munk One is the focus on extending learning “beyond the classroom”. This summer, my cohort have the opportunity to participate in summer programs related to global innovation. The options include travelling to Argentina, Israel, or Singapore. Check out the “Beyond the Classroom” link on this website for more information. If the summer programs are not a good fit, there still travel opportunities in the school year. Last semester, the winning case competition team travelled to Washington D.C. for a symposium on innovation. Just an aside, in order to make all these programs accessible, there are funding options for Munk One students. But you don’t need to leave campus to experience learning outside the classroom. Munk One students are invited to many presentations and panel discussions at the Munk School of Global Affairs.

This summer, I will be interning at an NGO in Uganda. I feel being a part of the Munk One program, among other things, facilitated this life experience for me. Where will your Munk adventures take you?
