The Study Abroad Program

The Master of Global Affairs Program at the Munk School offers a number of study abroad opportunities.

MGA students have numerous opportunities to study abroad. The University of Toronto has established partnerships with host institutions around the world that provide innovative graduate programs for students looking to enhance their global perspective.

The University of Toronto and the MGA program have collaborated to build a robust study abroad program and have reserved placements specifically for MGA students which can be viewed on the Learning Abroad website. Students can also apply to other graduate exchange programs list on the Learning Abroad website.

MGA students are eligible to study abroad in their first semester of their second year. If feasible, the mandatory summer internship can be combined with a study abroad semester in the same location. Students are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in their first year courses to go on an exchange.

The Centre for International Experience offers various funding opportunities for students who are planning on studying abroad. Please see the CIE website for more information.

For questions regarding the study abroad program please contact Megan Ball-Chiodi, Program Coordinator mga@utoronto.ca.
