Keeping in line with the Asian Institute’s drive for research, the Centre for the Study of Korea follows their mission of bringing together leading experts on Korea from across disciplines in the humanities and social sciences, the Centre acts as a hub for faculty and student research. The Asian Institute pan-Asian approach furthers the deep, specialized knowledge about particular regions that is necessary to understand the complexities of local issues, while fostering transnational and interdisciplinary conversations that transcend and contextualize local viewpoints. CSK enhances this research drive through events, projects, and providing a space for researchers to collaborate and support them to produce leading-edge scholarship.
