September 30 is Orange Shirt Day, a day meant to facilitate a global conversation about the effects and legacy of the residential school system. The federal government has also recognized September 30 as the annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, an effort to recognize the painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools and foster the reconciliation process.

To mark this day, the Faculty of Arts & Science has compiled a collection of resources and events to encourage learning, reflection, and action with respect to the legacy of the residential school system.

Visit the Arts & Science website for a full list of events and resources.
