Heejae Yang is an MGA student in Munk school of Global Affairs and Public Policy. Since he experienced a civil war and assisted refugees in South Sudan, he has pursued a possible solution for migration and refugee issues. He wrote about discrimination against Islamic refugees by host countries due to perception of ISIS terror, and evaluation of foreign policies toward migrants and refugees in South Korea. Presently, his research interest lays in refugees’ skills and labor force and its economic impacts on hosting countries to facilitate refugee determination process and refugee integration.
