Andrea is a first-year Master of Global Affairs student at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy. She graduated in 2019 from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Combined Honours Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and French (with a Research Specialization Option and a Spanish minor). During her undergraduate studies, she interned and provided written content for organizations such as the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) and Project Ploughshares, specifically in the areas of global migration and armed conflicts. Her primary research interests include human security, gender mainstreaming, and forced migration, particularly in the areas of policy, immigration detention, and environmental migration.
