Jennifer graduated in 2017 from the University of California Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Political Science. While an undergraduate student, she interned, studied, and worked in Irvine. Throughout her education at UCI, Jennifer worked in Student Government and participated as a mentor for the Humanities Mentorship program. After obtaining her degree, she worked for Jamboree Housing Corporation; an affordable housing non-profit developer. Her primary research interests include global law and policy, in particular how legislation can impact working-class women of colour who, due to economic constraints, end up in precarious situations of prostitution and/or human trafficking. Her short-term career goals include: working on issues related to issues of human and sex trafficking, international justice, human rights, and the developmental paths and procedures that are currently in place by international non-profits that help women and children out of human and sex trafficking situations.
