Azana Hyder

Azana Hyder is a Graduate Student at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy. She received her Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto with a double major in Political Science and Ethics, Society, and Law. Azana was a member of the Munk School’s Reach Project and conducted a research study on the Elimination of Polio in India. In 2018, Azana participated in the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Summer School program on migration studies in Prague. She also spent over a year working at the Toronto Region Board of Trade as a Program Coordinator with the World Trade Centre Toronto, assisting with inbound and outbound trade missions. Currently she volunteers with Century Initiative, a non-profit organization advocating for increased immigration to Canada. Azana’s main interests lie in the field of immigration and refugee law, international trade, and the role of international institutions in global governance.
