Fiona de Londras is a Professor of Global Legal Studies and the Deputy Head of Birmingham Law School. Professor de Londras’ research concerns constitutionalism, human rights and transnationalism. She explores these themes, primarily, in the context of counter-terrorism, the jurisprudence and future of the European Court of Human Rights, and the reform of abortion law in Ireland. She is the joint Editor-in-Chief of the Irish Yearbook of International Law, and formerly edited Legal Studies. She holds numerous international and adjunct appointments and regularly lectures on her research in law schools around the world. She is a visiting/adjunct professor at UNSW (Sydney) and UCD (Dublin), a global affiliate of the Vulnerability and the Human Condition Initiative (Emory, Atlanta), and an associate of the Oxford Human Rights Hub.
