Dr. Miloud Chennoufi holds a Ph.D in political science from the University of Montreal, a Masters in business science from l’École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC-Montreal) and a B.A. in economics from the University of Algiers. Currently, he teaches international relations at the Canadian Forces College in Toronto where he chairs the Department of Security and International Affairs. He is the author of Great Powers and Islamism (in French) and the co-editor of Strategic Studies in the 21st Century (in French). His current research focuses on three topics: the geopolitical history of the Middle-East, the conflict between state sovereignty and foreign intervention, and radicalization. Before moving to Canada, Dr. Chennoufi served as a journalist in his native Algeria.
