Jonathan is a second-year Master of Global Affairs student at the Munk school of Global Affairs, where his pursuing an emphasis in Global Markets combined with an Environmental Studies Collaborative Specialization. Prior to Munk, Jonathan worked as a building science consultant motivated by designing and constructing more sustainable buildings. He completed his undergraduate in civil engineering, while also getting educated on environmental and mining engineering, and holds a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) certification. His interests lie at the intersection of the private sector, development economics, and sustainability and include green finance, renewable energy, and clean technology. At GEPL, he researches the low-carbon economy transition.
