Alex is a second-year Master of Global Affairs (MGA) student with research interests in environmental economics, energy, and transportation policies. With a South American/European heritage and an upbringing in China, Alex is curious about policies and projects in the EU, the LATAM region, as well as East Asia. He received a bachelor’s degree in International Relations & European Studies from the University of Toronto in 2018. Previous professional experience includes internships in the private sector with Allianz (Munich, Germany), EY (Stuttgart, Germany), and RBC (Toronto, Canada). At GEPL he focuses on analyzing policy options regarding the low-carbon transition.
