Brianna Scrimshaw Botchwey

PhD Student

Brianna Scrimshaw Botchwey is a PhD student at the University of Toronto in Political Science and Environmental Studies. She holds an MPhil in International Relations and Politics from the University of Cambridge where she completed a distinction-awarded dissertation: “Analysing China’s Riparian Relations in Mainland Southeast Asia” and a BA from the University of British Columbia in International Relations and Asian Language and Culture. Her research interests include environment and development, climate change adaptation and the role of the Global South in transnational governance.
