Andrea Olive is Associate Professor of Political Science and Geography at the University of Toronto Mississauga. She is the author ofThe Canadian Environment in Political Context and Land, Stewardship, and Legitimacy: Endangered Species Policy in Canada and the US. Her primary interest is the role of norms in the policy process. Specifically, she examines how deeply held beliefs about private property effects natural resource management and endangered species conservation efforts in Canada and the US.
