Kathryn Chelminski is currently affiliated with the University of Toronto Munk School as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Her research is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. Kathryn’s research focuses on the following trends: the interaction of international institutions and domestic political economy, the broader structure and impacts of this complex governance sphere, and the increasing multipolarity and polycentrism as different state and non-state actors become active in this space, particularly South-South investment and lending trends.
Kathryn received her PhD in International Relations/Political Science from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. In the past, she has held doctoral fellowships at the Harvard Kennedy School Belfer Center and the University of Cambridge Energy Policy Research Working Group.
