Students in the Asia-Pacific Studies 400-level capstone course leave for Indonesia tonight to take part in a two week Internationalized Course Module (ICM) funded by the Faculty of Arts and Science.  Professor Rachel Silvey is taking eleven students to the city of Bandung, where they will work closely with local students and faculty at the Bandung Institute of Technology to learn about urban issues.  They will also visit the ASEAN and World Bank headquarters in Jakarta.  The trip aims to give students a firsthand look at themes they have covered in class, including development, migration, and environmental issues in Indonesia.
