Messages in the Media features twenty-five country-specific reports examining states’ relationships with the EU, as portrayed in popular domestic media over the course of a year. In addition to reports on nineteen EU Member States, there are also reports assessing relations between six non-member states and the EU. Through the compilation and analysis of media articles accessed via online archives, the reports assess the prevalent topics in regards to EU-Member States relations, as well as those with neighbouring countries. By analyzing the major themes discussed in the national media, the reports aim to provide valuable insight into domestic perspectives of states’ affairs in connection to the EU.
