CERES MA student Amartya Biswas is placed this summer with the Civil Society Section at the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) where he is involved with advocating for further civil society participation in the UN human rights programme. In addition to meeting his internship requirements for the CERES MA degree, the placement allows Amartya to focus his research on the status of international and European efforts towards establishing a migrant-rights regime.
