    Description

Since the December action in Gaza, the Middle East Peace Process had re-emerged as one of the defining challenges to peace and stability in the world. This conference will seek to address many of the major problems that face Israel/Palestine from economic realities to the peace process to international security issues. In addition to the graduate presentations, scholars from all over Canada and the United States will be joining to discuss the current issues that this region faces. In addition to the Dr. Alan Dowty as keynote, Dr. Harold Waller for McGill University, Dr. Constanza Musu from the University of Ottawa, Dr. David Dewitt from York University and Dr. Ed Morgan from the University of Toronto will be featured panelists.
