Asian Institute Professor Lynette Ong, a political scientist and China specialist, was interviewed by BBC World on their September 8, 2014 BBC World Service Daily Podcast.  The program was about how the Chinese government is trying to manage internal migration in China and the challenges faced by migrants due to Hukou, an internal passport that restricts person to social service benefits in their region of origin.
