Classic kung fu film screening with live appearance by Gordon Liu

One of Hong Kong’s most famous action stars, Gordon Liu has appeared in at least 47 films from 1974 to 1994, including Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2. Asian Institute cosponsors free screening of “Heroes of the East” on July 19 at Innis Town Hall.

The new Canada Hong Kong Library opens with art exhibition OPEN BOOK

OPEN BOOK (Mar 7-May 30) is co-presented with the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office and curated by Professor Wendy Wong, Chair of Design, York U. The Asian Institute plans to program a lecture series related to the exhibition for Asian Heritage Month.
