AI student wins award to conduct research in India

The Asian Institute is proud to congratulate Nabila Qureshi on winning the Walter and Mary Tuohy Award in Arts and Science. Nabila will spend a month in Delhi, India, volunteering for a women’s empowerment program and conducting research on development.

Taiwan Entrepreneurs Society Toronto made award to Asian Institute

At the gala held by TEST on Jan 9, Professor Joe Wong was presented with an award of $5,000 towards strengthening the Asian Institute’sTaiwan studies efforts. AI proposes to use the funds to support various internships to Taiwan planned for the summer.
